Give away Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst

Drink, Slay, Love

Pearl is a sixteen-year-old vampire... fond of blood, allergic to sunlight, and mostly evil... until the night a sparkly unicorn stabs her through the heart with his horn. Oops.


Her family thinks she was attacked by a vampire hunter (because, obviously, unicorns don't exist), and they're shocked she survived. They're even more shocked when Pearl discovers she can now withstand the sun. But they quickly find a way to make use of her new talent. The Vampire King of New England has chosen Pearl's family to host his feast. If Pearl enrolls in high school, she can make lots of human friends and lure them to the King's feast -- as the entrees.

The only problem? Pearl's starting to feel the twinges of a conscience. How can she serve up her new friends—especially the cute guy who makes her fangs ache—to be slaughtered? Then again, she's definitely dead if she lets down her family. What's a sunlight-loving vamp to do?

    The first vampire book I read was "Interview with the vampire" and then the whole Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice :D

    Let's see, the first vampire book I read...sounds cliche, but I think it would be Twilight. I don't think Harry Potter or Eragon had vampires in them, xD Since then I've read lots more books with vampires.

    Oops I forgot to say what was my first vampire book I read was (that's why I deleted my first comment so I could add it). Any my first Vampire book that I remember that I read was MaryJanice Davidson's "Undead and Unwed (book #1)" from MaryJanice Davidson's Undead series. Which I still read.

    I was never into vampire books until my niece took me to see Twilight! I then got all the books and have been hooked since. This book looks very interesting. Another new author for my list! Yay!

    I love the premise of this book :)

    I can't remember what my first Vamp book was--Bunnicula or something by Christopher Pike when I was younger. I've been a vamp fan for a long time and have read a lot of books about them over the years.
